Here's a breakdown of the image requirements for laTostadora, translated into British English:
Image Type
laTostadora supports images in JPEG and PNG formats. Both formats will produce excellent quality, provided the resolution is sufficient. PNG graphics allow for alpha channels, which means you can save graphics without a background.
White Background
Please note: A white background, whether in a JPEG or a PNG, will be printed. To print without a background, you need a PNG with an alpha channel. For more information on how to create a PNG with an alpha channel, click here.
Image Size and Resolution
Both JPEG and PNG files must have a maximum size of 5 MB.
The minimum resolution needs to be 120 pixels per inch, and the width must be at least actual size. This means if your design to be printed is 20 cm wide, the width of the image file itself must be a minimum of 20 cm (you can resize it smaller, but not larger).
Important: The maximum width for a design uploaded by a user (JPEG/PNG) is 24 cm.
With slower internet connections, it's possible for a "time out" (meaning the upload cuts off) to occur before the image finishes uploading.
