Personalizing t-shirts and other garments requires specific and often complex printing techniques, different from those used in traditional production, where print runs reach hundreds or thousands of units per item.

For the production of individual garments, there is no single optimal printing technique that works for all types of designs and materials. At Tostadora.fr, we specialize in direct-to-garment printing.

 Direct-to-garment (DTG) printing

Direct-to-garment printing is a technology dedicated to personalizing items and producing unique prints. It offers quality and a finish very similar to screen printing, and sometimes even superior! However, screen printing doesn't allow for print runs of fewer than 30 copies, while direct-to-garment printing allows printing from a single piece.

With this technique, we print any design chosen by the user in .PNG or .JPG format, as well as many of our own designs. We can print individual colors, patterns with hundreds of colors and gradients, or even text. In short, it's possible to print any .PNG or .JPG file.

Benefits:
  • It supports 16 million colors.
  • Screen printing quality per unit.
  • Ideal for drawings with multiple lines, weathering effects, irregularities, etc.
Disadvantages:
  • High printing costs for long print runs.
  • The print may be slightly less durable than traditional screen printing.
  • The print may occasionally show slight imperfections, especially in the case of very uniform colors.

Washing instructions:
  • Wash the t-shirt inside out.
  • Always wash with cold water.  Machine wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC.
  • Do not use bleach or whitening stain removers.
  • Do not tumble dry the garment, as this could irreversibly damage the fabric and print.
  • Iron on the reverse side, avoiding the print.
